We are pleased to announce a new and important event in the life of our village of Luch! This week we started restoring the roof of the third multi-storey building, which is a step towards the restoration of our entire village.
For nine long months, the village of Luch has been in the so-called "gray zone", where it has experienced many trials and tribulations. All the buildings in our village were damaged: some of them heavily, others less so, and some were destroyed altogether. The duration and scale of this crisis was a difficult test for us, but thanks to our unity and unbiased support, we overcame all difficulties.
In particular, the situation in the third high-rise building was particularly difficult. The lack of roofing threatened its future, especially during cold and bad weather. But the best part of this story is that with the support of the volunteers of the "Restoration of Southern Ukraine" fund, the strength of the community and the generosity of our German donors, we were able to change this situation.
Many thanks to our volunteers who put their hands and hearts into this project. Your selfless work is an irreplaceable contribution to the restoration of our region. We also want to express our gratitude to every person from the community who supported us every step of the way.
